健康「衣」夏 買衣服看成分

負責清潔打掃的阿姨來看門診，她整天流汗，腰部長了好多紅疹，發現她常穿的衣服材質既不吸汗、又不透氣，難怪皮膚出問題。

許多人挑選衣服只看款式是否討喜，從不看材質，殊不知皮膚病與衣服材質有密切關係，高溫潮濕的台灣，需要吸汗透氣的材質，尤其本來就有皮膚病的人，更需謹 慎，以免皮膚病惡化。

看了衣服材質特性（見下表）的比較，覺得頭昏了嗎？其實，有個簡單的教戰守則，負責全家衣物採買的家庭主婦必學，這攸關著家人皮膚的健康。下面幾招易學好 用：

1.買前必看成分標示，無者棄之，市售最常見成衣標示35%棉、65%聚酯，棄之可也。一是含棉成分太少，衣服質料肯定不佳；二是這種成分的標示，有不少 是隨便標的，根本是百分之百的聚酯，沒有棉的成分。

2.混紡衣料可參考表中排名，排名在前者所佔比率越高越好，如80%棉＋20%縲縈，而大拍賣時必下手者：天絲棉、精梳棉、絲光棉、黏液縲縈、絲毛混紡， 這些都是高檔貨，如果是天絲棉牛仔褲，趕快搶！

3.問店員可以嗎？在日本的百貨公司可以，在台灣店員常把尼龍、聚酯當蠶絲，亞克力當毛料，問她們說法怎麼與標示不同，她們回答 老闆教的，又問這些料子不吸汗、不透氣，她們竟回答客人都是有冷氣吹的，令人氣結。

制服是許多人的無奈，為美容中心小姐挑制服時，請廠商拿樣本來，竟無成分標示，廠商表示從未有人要求看成分，令我駭異不已！他們提 供的衣料全是表中「劣」者，只因為便宜耐用，至於是否傷害皮膚健康無人關心，如此差的料子每天要穿上八至十小時，肯定令人抓狂！

近來發展出兩種最適宜當夏季制服的衣料，一是天絲棉，一是排汗衣。天絲棉費用較高，排汗衣約千元左右，為了員工及學子的皮膚健康及節約電費，請主管多多體 恤下屬。

天絲棉吸汗透氣、舒適、柔軟、有絲的光澤；排汗衣內層為純棉材質，外層則是排汗纖維，穩定性高、具中空構造、透氣而輕盈、不吸水又防皺，就像間空氣流通、 散濕性良好的屋子，流汗時內層的純棉除了維持貼身的舒適並保持體溫外，可迅速吸收汗水並傳到外層，而外層的排汗纖維可快速將水分傳遞散發出去，使皮膚接觸 面保持乾爽。但千萬不要使用柔軟精清洗，會塞住衣服纖維使得衣服蓬鬆，反而影響了排汗的功能。

對女人而言，懂得衣料非常重要，才能在拍賣會時如山一樣的衣物堆中挖寶。要記住好衣服絕不會用爛料子，憑手的觸覺去探索，也可以撈到物超所值的寶哦！

This circuit provide automatic current limiting up to 8.4A. Unlike current limiter that uses only a resistor, this current limiting circuit doesn’t drop the voltage, or at least keep the voltage drop at minimum, until a certain current amount is exceeded. This current amount limit is adjustable from 1.4 A to 8.4A using a potentiometer. You can modify the component value to give different current limiting range. Here is the circuit’s schematic diagram:

The resistor R1 is there to sense the current. At R2 potentiometer at minimum resistance (the center tap connected to R1), if the current drawn by the load reach 1.2A then the voltage across R1 reach 0.6V and Q2 begin conducting, thus shorting the base voltage of Q4 to ground. This shorting action reduce the base current and therefore reduce the output voltage sensed by the load, and prevent the current to flow further. If you need the current limiter to limit at lower threshold range, you can change the R1 to 1R and you’ll get about 0.7A to 4.2A adjustment range.

Because of the power dissipation capability of 2N3055 transistor, at the worst case that the load is shorted to ground (zero resistance), if you limit the current to 8.4 A then the circuit can handle maximum source voltage of 14V, while limiting the current at 4.2A can handle up to 27V source voltage. The maximum voltage can be handled by this circuit is 60 volt, but at that maximum voltage you can only safely set the current limit at 1.9A in the extreme condition, when the load is shorted to ground.        A current-limiting circuit both signals a latch-up condition and prevents latch-up- induced overcurrent destruction of a CMOS IC or group of ICs

如下圖所示為電壓調節電路，與前述調
節電路不同的是我們加入了電晶體 Q3 與限
流電阻 R4，這二個元件形成限流保護電路。
當負載電流小於 600mA 時，在 R4 的電壓降
小於 0.6V，Q3 截止，這時候，調節器動作
如前面所描述的。
當負載電流在 600 至 600 mA 之間，跨於 R4
上的電壓為 0.6 到 0.7V 之間，足夠使 Q3 導通。
此時 Q3 的集極電流增加，而 Q2 的基極電流
減少以避免負載電流過度的增加。其工作
的順序為：                 
    IL↑，VR4↑，IB3↑，IC3↑，VC3↓，
    VB2↓，IB2↓，IE1↓，I2↓

After surfing around the net, I've found very little information regarding installation of VB6 on Windows 7. Most of the information out there is for Vista, and most of it is queries for assistance.

You may be wondering why someone would want to utilize VB6 on a shiny new operating system like Windows 7. Or even Vista for that matter.

There are about a bazillion legacy applications out there that have to be supported, and people like me who speak VB6 need to have the tools installed on our workstations in order to implement and test updates and such for these legacy applications.

It also helps out when I need to squirt out a quick tool for use in my daily work.

So without further delay, here is the process that I have used on my Windows 7 machines to install Visual Basic 6.

1. Turn off UAC.
   
2. Insert Visual Studio 6 CD.
   
3. Exit from the Autorun setup.
   
4. Browse to the root folder of the VS6 CD.
   
5. Right-click SETUP.EXE, select Run As Administrator.
   
6. On this and other Program Compatibility Assistant warnings, click Run Program.
   
7. Click Next.
   
8. Click "I accept agreement", then Next.
   
9. Enter name and company information, click Next.
   
10. Select Custom Setup, click Next.
    
11. Click Continue, then Ok.
    
12. Setup will "think to itself" for about 2 minutes. Processing can be verified by starting Task Manager, and checking the CPU usage of ACMSETUP.EXE.
    
13. On the options list, select the following:
    • Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0
    • ActiveX
    • Data Access
    • Graphics
    
    All other options should be unchecked. Click Continue, setup will continue.
    
14. Finally, a successful completion dialog will appear, at which click Ok. At this point, Visual Basic 6 is installed.
    
15. If you do not have the MSDN CD, clear the checkbox on the next dialog, and click next. You'll be warned of the lack of MSDN, but just click Yes to accept.
    
16. Click Next to skip the installation of Installshield. This is a really old version you don't want anyway.
    
17. Click Next again to skip the installation of BackOffice, VSS, and SNA Server. Not needed!
    
18. On the next dialog, clear the checkbox for "Register Now", and click Finish.

The wizard will exit, and you're done. You can find VB6 under Start, All Programs, Microsoft Visual Studio 6.

I've not tested this on Vista, but it should work for you there as well. Give it a try, and let me know how it works!

UPDATE

You might notice after successfully installing VB6 on Windows 7 that working in the IDE is a bit, well, sluggish. For example, resizing objects on a form is a real pain.

After installing VB6, you'll want to change the compatibility settings for the IDE executable.

1. Using Windows Explorer, browse the location where you installed VB6. By default, the path is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VB98\
   
2. Right click the VB6.exe program file, and select properties from the context menu.
   
3. Click on the Compatibility tab.
   
4. Place a check in each of these checkboxes:
   • Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP (Service Pack 3)/li>
   • Disable Visual Themes/li>
   • Disable Desktop Composition
   
   
   • Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

After changing these settings, fire up the IDE, and things should be back to normal, and the IDE is no longer sluggish.
