PTC ProE/Creo  版本演進

PTC® 於 2010 年 10 月 28 日推出新的設計軟體系列 CreoTM，專為使用 CAD 軟體的企業解決困擾已久的問題。

Creo 將提供四項突破性技術，解決操作性、互通性、技術鎖定和組件管理等長久以來的問題。這些技術包括：

AnyRole AppsTM - 為客戶在正確時機提供正確使用者適當的工具
AnyMode ModelingTM - 讓使用者能在任何建模模式下設計和使用資料，
不論是 2D、3D 直接或 3D 參數建模，都不需擔心遺漏設計智慧或設計意圖
AnyData AdoptionTM - 讓使用者能從任何 CAD 系統導入資料
AnyBOM AssemblyTM - 讓小組能夠連接至所需的 PLM，建立並驗證特定序號的產品組態
藉由解決設計軟體中懸而未決的重大問題，Creo 為企業釋放創造力、促進團隊合作、改善效率並實現價值，讓企業充分發揮組織的潛力。

PTC 同時也宣布，將重新命名現有領先業界的產品 Pro/ENGINEER®、CoCreate® 和 ProductView®。為了讓衍生 Creo 的現有元素能跟上設計軟體的未來蓬勃發展，現有品牌將變更為下列新名稱：

Pro/ENGINEER 將重新命名為 Creo Elements/Pro
CoCreate 將重新命名為 Creo Elements/Direct
ProductView 將重新命名為 Creo Elements/View
Creo Elements 產品已上市。Creo 1.0 預計將於 2011 年中推出。*
